I hear that coffee is lower on pH than tea but I put milk in coffee which increases it by how much? When I make black tea I brew 5 minutes not 2 or 3 they say it increases the pH increases drastically. I was wondering what the pH level of my tea is if I make it double strength and five minute brew. I drink that lapsong black tea I don't know if that has a higher pH and then the pH of english breakfast, earl grey black tea and other black tea. I'm having some pretty serious tooth decay and wanting to help it they say tea is good for it but if I double strength of mind will it melt my enamel. I want to make mine double strength but what is the pH and will it hurt me.

It seems that you don't know the first fact about anything you are doing. I just don't understand why a person would do something without bothering to learn what it's about. Get a chemistry book and learn what pH means. Buy a pH meter here: www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&field-keywords=ph%20meter There are some cheap ones, and you can be even cheaper buying pH paper at the drugstore.
Tooth decay is mostly because you are not getting enough minerals in your diet, or you are not eating the foods needed to process minerals. Minerals have to be absorbed from saliva through the surface of the teeth, so brush to keep the surface clean. Toothpaste is not needed, it's brushing that does the job. The main mineral is calcium and that means pills; nutritionists are not recommending milk as a primary source of calcium. You need magnesium along with the calcium. Study some books about nutrition so you know how to eat right.
