So all my life, my teeth have been straight without the need for braces, but there's just one tooth that's slightly crooked in my mouth. I really don't want to get braces or anything else that's expensive, because it's just one tooth. Any suggestions?

you want to do the best thing for your tooth i think i would want to do what ever it is going to take to get it straight out it wouldn't make much sense to leave one that way at least knowing if it was going to cost alot i think i would tell the dentist that you want the least expensive way but the best possible thing that can correct it
Some dental problems don't require braces at all, while others that do require braces may have alternate treatments available. But you need to make an appointment with your orthodontist before making a decision. The only person who can tell you exactly what your options are when it comes to dental appliances is your orthodontist. If you are curious whether you are eligible for teeth-straightening without braces, talk to your orthodontist before you do anything else. Don't make a decision without listening his or her advice.
