Hi everyone. So I spilt some water on a power outlet in my bedroom, which tripped the main power switch for the whole house. I have switched it back on and everything is now fine apart from the two power outlets on the one wall. The outlets on the opposite wall work. I have unplugged everything from these and turned them off. I guess I just wait and see if they dry out now? Thanks.

You could direct a fan (powered from opposite wall) onto the "spill outlet" & let it run for 24 hours to ensure complete drying. If the circuit breaker (for the 2 outlets) still trips, you may have some sort of damage that could require replacing the plug......or you might have a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) that would cause only the "spill outlet" to remain off. Push the reset button if it is a GFCI. If still broken....time to call in an expert. PS Unusual for the whole house breaker to trip on a short in one circuit......
