Speaking in tongues?

I have tourettes It can make me cuss or say random things But sometimes I wonder if I speak in tongues.It usually happens after I fall down after some one prays for me and one time it happend after I heard someone else talk in tongues.But I cant figure out if its really tongues or is my disorder making me say random stuff I noticed that I cant just make myself do it,Even if I really want too.Like when I try to pray for someone I cant make it happen.I am getting rather confused and sorta frustrated with this

What do you mean speaking in tongues..do you speak something that no person understands? Maybe it is a disorder, better visit your doctor to make sure...

If it makes you cuss-then no. Speaking in tongues is entirely spirit led. Don't try to speak in tongues to impress people. It's a way to release your feelings for God.

I was told speaking in tongues was God speaking thru you. In church we always had some one speak in tongues then some one else translates it into English.  What was weird was that neither of them claimed to know they were doing it. By them I mean the one speaking in tongues and the one who translates into English.  I always thought that was weird when I was a kid. How could some one not know that God or Jesus was speaking thru them. None of them could speak tongues just out of the blue or on cue of demands.  Ask your pastors or elders of your church. . Oh btw. Those in our church who spoke in tongues were elders of our church.
