am a 27 year old male 6 2 200 lbs, I have dull aches that come and go in my arms legs and upper back, almost like I just worked out, you know that tight lactic acid feeling. Thing is I haven't just worked out I also noticed the muscles in my upper arms and upper legs twitch randomly. I have not experienced any loss of strength or menuverablity and its by no means debilitating buts its just dull aches that come and go. I don't present any other symptoms. What can this be?

My first guess would be magnesium deficiency, just because that is so common in USA. It could be a deficiency of several other nutrients. Calcium sorta goes along with magnesium, and vitamin D is involved. Pads in the joints are made of vitamin C. You need to study books about nutrition at least a little bit so you can recognize symptoms.

Could be a mineral deficiency as the poster above suggested but could also be an intolerance to wheat/gluten or nightshades (potatoes, aubergine, tomatoes etc) or it could be an infection or a condition called fibromyalgia. You could also have problems with your thyroid or certain medications such as statins (for high cholesterol) can cause muscle pain also. Best to get a blood test done and speak to your doctor. Good luck.
