Yeah, I know an actor with that last name Davenport. Jack Davenport who played Commodore/Admiral James Norrington from Pirates of the Caribbean who was killed by William Turner Jr.'s (played by Orlando Bloom) father Bootstrap or Bootstrap Bill Turner. Bootstrap is now a crew member of the Flying Dutchman. He's spending an eternity on Davy Jones' ship after trying to get away with lying from that game Deception. (Played by 3 people Will Turner Jr., Davy Jones, and Bootstrap Bill). Davy Jones caught him and said, "Bootstrap Bill you're a cheater and a liar and you will spend an eternity on this ship!"
