If you study successful people you notice two things. First, other people may have done the same things and worked equally hard and failed, so there is something more involved than what you do and how hard you work. The second thing you notice is that successful people don't know exactly how they did it, they only know that it took a lot of effort. So if it doesn't work for somebody else, they can only assume that he was lazy.
