One solution to hear many artists is to look up compilations in YouTube. When you hear a song you like, google it and see if you would like to listen to more songs from that artist.
Check out a piece called Suite Punta del este. It is in a style called tango nuevo. It is composed by Astor Piazzolla. Composed in 1982. Very cool piece, and was later reimagined as the 12 monkeys theme music.
