... male).
Apparently they were hanging out at the park around midnight. They didn't have anything to do, so they got some snacks and went to the park. Apparently one of them got a text that there was a party in the area, so she decided to change in the back seat of the car (she wasn't "dressed to impress"). The minor sees the cops and freaks so he jumps in the back seat. The cops get there and basically the scene is she's "getting dressed" and he's in the back seat with her. Not a good scene. She doesn't worry because she thinks the minor is actually 19 (the minor lied about his age, and according to my aunt, he did look older). So when the cop asks for the ages she gives hers and her ID and he says, "17 and I don't have my ID". So she goes into shock.
So, what's going to happen?
The cop basically thinks something happened between the two, since he got to the scene and her clothes were barely on? Ignorance isn't an excuse, however the minor did lie about his age? She would not have been hanging out with him alone if she knew. Is she in trouble?
Just wondering. She won't pick up my calls, so I don't know what has been decided. And my aunt doesn't have that many details (she doesn't live with her mom).
Any help?
Well it seems she spoke with one. 1.) The police report wasn't written. 2.) The parents nor the minor are pressing charges. 3.) Nothing happened and no proof that something happened, except for circumstantial evidence from the cop assuming that because she was changing, they were having sex (which they both deny).
