... manageable...I was thinking of a red tail boa ...but from doing research it seems that they need a fairly large tank and I don’t want to take to much room up ...plus I hear their temperament aren’t the greatest of snakes ...so then I got interested in a blood python because they have girth and aren’t going to reach great lengths as easy as the boa but ...I heard they have a nastier temperament than boas and lastly I was thinking just a regular ball python but I want to be different than most people because they are popular ..so what would be a recommendation for a snake that has girth and a length no bigger than 8 ft. And good temperament ? Something that is curious like a boa but docile like a ball python please help ???

Ball Python
Arguably the most popular pet snake there is, the ball python is a very even-tempered, docile snake. They only grow to be about 3-5 feet in length but can live several decades. They get their name from the tight ball they curl up into when they feel threatened.
Corn snake
A species of rat snake, the corn snake is a popular beginners snake due it's small size but also a well-loved snake to the experienced keeper because of their varying color patterns.
