I found out I had it when I zoomed on a pic I had in my computer and zoomed in too much and almost fainted because of it. Somebody once switched my computer from 100% to 250% and when I opened it, I started crying and having chills all over my body. Once, I was playing a game and the screen went crazy, It showed mostly red and orange colors all over, there was a glitch. I instantly closed the lid of my laptop. I also have problems on google maps, I hate it when it zooms out, especially on the ocean. What is this called? It makes me cry and I panic. :|
So, I have this huge phobia of distortion, and I don't know how it's called. Especially zoomed pics?

I don't think I can look through binoculars, either. When I was a child, a boy gave me his binoculars to look at this stuffed whale he had on the floor of his room. So I did and got really scared, the whale seemed huge. Maybe the zoom and glitch phobias are different. Because the glitch one happened when I was playing tetris once and the game broke somehow and started showing distorted tetris pieces falling all over the screen in weird motions...

I am age 78 and I still suffer from a phobia with viewing highly magnified objects through certain instruments. The zoom feature offered on many instruments can be frightening to me, possibly due to the capability of normal-sized objects to suddenly expand, therefore startling me. With binoculars, looking through them has always fascinated me since I was a child, but it took me years before I could convince myself to accomplish it without fear. However, if anyone happened to walk in front of my field of view, it would startle me. I would have a problem looking through my ophthalmologist's high-powered machine to observe patient's eyes. As a child, I could not look through a magnifying glass to view anything around me because it was scary to me. This has always been a mystery to me, but I guess everyone has a phobia of some sort!
But I am not afraid of mirrors...
