Does anyone know how to get it out?

The only reason it won't work is the marble is not where you thought it was. This is a first semester demo in high school physics class.
Well I looked to see if it was in my bell and it wasn't, I then took off the first layer of my slide and looked through and there was nothing there. The only other place it could be would be the first layer of the slide and if it where in there I wouldn't be able to go into first position, which I can.
All you are saying is you still don't know where it is. Push a wire into the pipe and where it stops is where the marble is. Measure on the outside and heat it there. Don't heat it much.
Okay so my friend who plays trumpet stopped by yesterday and used a trumpet cleaner thing to get it out. It was stuck in the tuning slide.
That's wonderful. I'm glad it all came out ok.
I tried this and it didn't work. I'm pretty sure it's in my tuning slide but I'm not sure. the only other place it could be would be my slide and if it was in there I wouldn't be able to get my slide into first position.
