... still have another couple weeks to go. But I work at Jcpenneys Portrait Studio and the reason why I'm quitting is because 1. I am not aloud to take time off at the end of October, or at all in November or December and I have prior engagements that I can't/ don't wanna get out of and 2. I have my own photography business I do on the side to get myself started and she doesn't like that I have that and I'm not giving that up because I have worked to hard in the past two years to stop it now, and I don't wanna lose business. So this morning when I went in for training we were talking about how I can't get the days off when I need to and she was asking if I'm okay with that and I was like ya, I mean maybe and she looked at me and said well I can't give you those days off because those are our busiest months but if you can't do that then you need to decide if your going stay here or not, so I'll leave that up to you. So I guess my question is, is it okay to tell her I've decided not to continue with this job over text or email?? Because the next time I go in is Thursday for another day of training and I really don't wanna wait that long
