This is what I get when I try to load the save file it loads up fine but when I enter a loading screen the game closes, I try to save the game closes pretty much anything makes the game close but when I start a new game everything works fine.
Is this save file corrupted?
If you are using the PC and have some mods added try playing around with the selected mods that are on as one of them may need updating since last time you played or one isn't compatible with the others or maybe one mod wasn't saved properly in the game, what might be an idea is to remove them all then re add them.
For the xbox it may be the DLC hasn't loaded properly and there for can't load it. have you tried uninstalling and re installing the DLC (for PC as well)?
also with the xbox you could also try clearing the game cache by holding the LEFT Bumper, RIGHT Bumper, and the X button all at the same time on the Xbox 360 controller as a game is launching. Once you get to the Main Menu or Title Screen of the game, you can let go of the buttons. There will be no notification to you that this process has completed because it is all done passively.
not sure for the Play Station sorry if this is what you're on. the xbox fix might be similar.
Sounds like it yes, this is what turned me off skyrim (after several months of play though..) the constant niggling little errors, the fact the game never quite runs smoothly because you're always on the edge waiting for it to crash. It really didn't surprise me when I read about people building rigs specifically to play this game as running it on a general PC, even one with very high specs (like mine), is not sufficient to run this game smoothly and error free. God forbid you try to run it iwith any mods, I've yet to hear of someone who managed it and then played it for an hour straight without some kind of f**k up... fantastic game but flawed by inadequate testing and updates :(
Yes the game has so much potential and is a great one it's a shame it's broken so easy another example of poor coding flaw is the blood on ice quest one mistake and you can't finish the quest or even pick it up hopefully Bethesda will re-release this game for next gen with these bugs fixed or at least fixing the saves breaking too easy

Hey, I pretty much got to the same point in the game as I did in my first save and now it's doing the same thing again :/ (without the message haven't even touched the mods)
I'm on pc and yes I have played around with modding a lot, secondly it's all up to date since it started happening right after the time I used the command /showracemenu after that the game started messing up and closing etc
I have tried disabling all mods still had the problem but the mods worked on a new game I have also tried doing a full reinstall of the game and it seems to be only affecting this character's play through save
So this in mind do u think the save is broken and corrupted thus causing me to start over again?
