February 30 only occurred once in history because the Swedes changed their calendar and then changed it back this requiring a double leap year. But since a year is technically longer than 365.25 days, shouldn't there be a double leap year eventually?

I don't know if a year is slightly more or less than 365.25 days. Regardless, whether it requires a double leap year or a year that is dividable by 4 that is not a leap year an adjustment will be made just as adjustments to the clocks are or will be made since they day is not exactly 24 hours.
