In your opinion do you think workers who constantly seek to develop themselves should make more money or should workers be paid more based on years in position.

I would think that depending on how long you have been at your job that they would have its own wages and evaluations page laid out or a book you can go by to see where you stand if the company isn't giving pay raises accordingly then they have a problem. Is there a big turn over rate in workers coming and going? Do you belong to a union sometimes you can go by that ask them if not then you have to get with others and talk to the boss they can give pay raises accordingly to how long they have been there on the payroll.
