Women should be free to decide about abortion without the state's interference.
There are many reasons to support this claim.
1. Sometimes, women have unwanted pregnancies, such as getting pregnant from a toxic partner hence the need to have an abortion to avoid putting the kid at risk.
2. Women may feel that pregnancy will interfere with their education and decide to have an abortion.
3. Some may have gotten pregnant from rape cases; hence it is healthier to have an abortion rather than have the traumatic experience of raising a kid born out of rape.
4. Financial constraint: A woman may not be able to care for the child, hence deciding to have an abortion. Also, some women may feel pregnancy or parenthood is likely to damage their mental well-being.
5. A partner may push a woman to have an abortion by pointing out that they are not ready for parenthood.
6. Health risk: Sometimes, continuing the pregnancy or having a child may put the mother and the kid at a health or death risk.
7. The doctors may find that the foetus is likely to develop a serious mental or physical abnormality if delivered.
8. Patenhood may hurt the existing family by negatively affecting the already-born children.
Conclusively, the decision to have an abortion is generally influenced by several diverse and interrelated reasons.
