Not unless someone can figure out a way for the artists to make money from you downloading their music for free. If they stop making money then why should they keep producing music?

There are a few sites that sell music for very cheap like 7 cents a song its the closest you will ever get to free unless you use something like limewire or frostwire.

Well i think that depends because they also needs money to maintain their site to be able to run it that is why there are site that ask for payment.
