hi, im in 5th grade and im a girl. ive always had a knack for football. Ever since i was really young i would watch football with my dad. I understand football completely. Ive always looked up to Tim Tebow because he really inspired me to love god and fight for what i believe in to be right. Lately ive been thinking if i should try out for a football team even though im a girl. Im extremely fast and hold the school record for the mile.
ive even been invited to play football with the boys at school. BY THE BOYS! they say im really fast. i did play with them and i scored a touchdown on one of thier safetys. I also consider myself very aggresive and tough. i already play soccer. I really want to try out for TACKLE football. My dream is to make it to the NFL. should I tryout? i want to but im scarred if the other boys try out and they beat me. i dont wanna look like a fool. im thinking of having one of my friends tryout with me because she loves football too. then it would be less wierd and scary. should i try out and follow my dream? btw there are no rules for the nfl to not have a girl player. i want to be the first girl to make it to the NFL. I also do not wanna try out for kicker. any position really. the boys said i would be a good running back. what position should i try out for? and remember. just because its a male dominet sport doesnt mean a girl cant do it.
Should I try out for football? girl?

I believe you, but be careful what you wish for you just might get it. Football is a physical sport as u well know. Good luck.
I wouldn't try to play running back because they hit a lot and I don't think getting hurt as a girl would be good. If I were you I would play a wide reciver,if you could catch good. For example: Adrian Foster the running back for the Texans is a good player but,he gets hurt too much. A wide reciver runs a lot and are main spotlights on teams. Try it out. Sorry for spelling And I would try out if I were you.
What injuries did he get? Adrian Foster I mean?
If you're planning on playing youth football, I should warn you that this a very dangerous sport. Many deaths have been reported including some college students. I don't mean to say this to scare you and make you not wanna play just a precaution. But I think you should play football.
i dont want to be a kicker. i can do better then that. I can tackle as hard, play as hard, and run as hard as a boy ever will.
