i want to make music my career, and i was searching for colleges when i found a performing arts high school in my area. i think it'd be a great alternative hs for me bc the music program at my current hs is too easy and i'm already first chair in the highest auditioned ensemble in my freshmen year so i have nowhere to improve from, and i don't really like the community of my hs as a whole. the only problem is i'm not good at handling new places since i have major social anxiety and i'd hate to leave my friends at my current high school so idk? help? plus the application submission date ends in january so i don't have that much time to decide.
Should I transfer to a performing arts high school?

You should do it. That would be a step up into your future. I wanted to be an auto tech by Freshman of HS I was enrolled in classes. They were horrible and taught nothing. There was an alternative school I could of gone to with a better program but, I gave up on it. I regret that I didn't go, and you will too. Go to that school and show everyone what your made of!
