We have known each other for almost four years now. We currently live across the country from each other, but he will probably be moving back home within the next year. Should I tell him after he moves back? The last time I visited him I kissed him on the neck as I was getting out of his car, in the hopes that I would signal that I want more than just friendship in the future.

Hi to be honest yes you should tell him. I know it's not quite the same but I fell for my best friend (we are both girls) and I told her and we were fine. If he is your true friend it shouldn't phase him, and you never know he could like you back. You will never know unless you try. And tell him when you next see him so he knows and the year he is still gone he possibly won't get a girlfriend. Hope this helps! good luck!
well if he sees the sign he should have picked up on it but if he had picked up on it seems he would have said something or showed the same affection which now tells me he maybe needing a more suttle interest so I think he needs a nudge in that direction let him know
