I just found out my teacher is gay, but students aren't supposed to know. I'm a closeted bisexual. Should I talk to him about it (I could use advice from someone who's been through it all) or pretend like I have no idea?

How long have you been bi, if you don't mind me asking.
Well, I've known for three years, but technically I've always been that way.
If you saw him on a gay pride parade thing then it can’t be that surprising you found out. I found out one of my teachers is gay or at least had a fling and I didn’t even think about it being an issue. We never really spoke about it like it was some massive discovery … it was more we just knew and made reference to it every once and a while. I don’t think he would mind really… just make sure nothing happens that causes people to become worried about you too. Also tell someone else that you spoke about it with him like a parent if they are accepting because then it isn’t secretive therefore less suspicious!!
Oh, the school never told him that students shouldn't know he's gay, it's just that he personally never told his students. One of my classmates looked him up online and found a video of him being interviewed at a gay pride parade. The thing is, I don't know how he would take that information, even though teachers at my school are really friendly and love helping students with problems.
