this question is for all my cheerleaders out there. cheerleading is my entire life and i have been cheering and tumbling for many years. i have all level 3 skills, and some level 4 skills. i did have a back injury last season, but i got most of my skills back. i tried out last week and they put me on a level two team. i've been very upset about it and the owner of the gym said i'm not able to switch to a higher team, even if i do get more skills. the gym i cheer at is pretty expensive and i've worked so hard to get my level 3 and 4 tumbling that i'm bored on a level 2 team and it's limiting me from throwing more difficult skills. if i take a year off, i would still do school cheerleading and tumbling classes. but i know i would miss performing at competitions a lot. there really are no other good allstar gyms near me. please help.
Should I take year off from all star cheerleading?
