I'm in year 8, and at my school we do practice exams starting from year 7 to prepare us and get us ready for year 10, 11, 12 exams. So, the scores we get in our 'preparation' exams don't really matter. The score I get won't effect my report, or if I get a bad score have to repeat year 8. Nothing like that. But, I still want to try and put effort to hopefully get a good score. I have a math exam tomorrow and 1 hour basketball training tonight. What should I do? Should I study tonight since I'm not very confident in math, or should I go basketball training to ensure I do well on my game this Saturday? In math I am in the level, level. There is access, level and challenge levels. Access is needs help, level is average/standard, and challenge is the smart kids-(sorry for the stereotype). All in all in math, from my reports I'm At Level, which means year 8 standard-(my year). I do care about my exam results, and my parents also want me to do the best I can(my parents are not strict, they won't yell or ground me if I don't get the best score). I at least want to pass. Over 50%, preferably of 65-70%. If I was to fail or get a bad score, I would be disappointed. But I love basketball, and I want to do good and win my game. I really want to go training, but care about my scores. (P.S I do not like math...I hate it).
