MRI revealed several degenerative discs in my neck & there is a nerve that's irritated. I have sore shoulder & neck muscles, get the odd headache etc. Surgery is too risky.
The ENT sent me for a CT scan to see if there's anything that's going on which may be causing the pulsatile tinnitus. He did remove a hard piece of earwax.
My cousin's husband has been diagnosed with "Giant Cell" What I'm experiencing in my shoulders/neck is a very similar symptom of polymyalgia rheumatica which a lot
of people with Giant Cell can get as well. I'm worried about this..mostly because I won't see the ENT for the results of the CT scan for 1 1/2 weeks. Should I stop worrying about this, & accept the fact that my sore neck/shoulders is because of the discs?
Should I stop worrying???
