Hey!! This may sound like a dumb question, but I swear it's a difficult choice right now!
I currently work as a cashier 38 miles from home. They do have paid vacation/holidays, and a Monday-Friday schedule, but the 2-3 hours a day of driving is killing me!
I was offered a position at a Walmart 4 miles from my house; which would be more than ideal as that's about 6 minutes!
The thing is... I had a surgery towards the end of 2016; a septoplasty(deviated septum). Lately, I've noticed my nose is crooked, hard to breathe through, and I can see it's all crooked inside if I look with a flashlight.
This means I prolly need to have the surgery redone, but, if I leave my job and work at Walmart, I'll probably have to both wait for insurance coverage to start, and also accrue enough paid time off to not get fired. I was out of work a week last time.
Anyone have any suggestions what to do? I have orientation at Walmart Tuesday so I'm not sure now :(
