Should I purchase air ticket online?

One time I got burned by using a ticket agency I found in a newspaper. It took me a long time to get my money back but I finally got it. However, if you use several search engines; priceline, kayak and some more. They are dependable and safe. Also book straight through the airline you want. Sometimes they offer discounted fares.
