I am about to get an interview for an apprenticeship job. Theres just 1 problem. I am either currently fired from my recent job or im still employed. I missed work 2 days ago cuz i overslept. My boss has left me a voicemail and said he'd like to talk about why i missed work. I havent called back because I'm kinda scared to be honest. I think he's pissed off and i dont feel like i deserve a second chance(this is the first time this has happened). I'm not sure if i should just quit and try getting a job at 1 of 3 other potential places. I have 3 more interviews to attend to. I've already attended 1 of those 3 interviews and it seems like the hiring manager liked me when i went in today. The job i may or may not be fired from is a Pizza shop position. I've had more work experience at a local Grocery store however. So can i just reveal that experience instead of the pizza shop experience. The Grocery store experience is good because i didn't get fired. I simply left that job after 1 year. I've only been at this pizza place for about 3 months.
Should I include a bad job experience on my resume?

I know you're scared, but you need to talk to your boss. They will more than likely just be angry with you and may need to write you up, but since it's your first time I would be surprised if they fired you.
I wouldn't recommend putting a job on that you were fired from, especially if you haven't been there very long. If you were there for a long time, then add it and be prepared to come up with what you learned from your failure and what you did to fix it. Never blame anything on anyone in the company. The reason I say the less time you spend at a job vs longest is you more than likely will have to explain the missing time length for why you weren't working.
