Should I confess to her I like her?

I was in the same situation a while ago, the only difference is I'm a girl. Me and my crush both liked each other but we were both to shy to tell each other and we thought we just thought of each other as friends. So we kept talking to each other for a while and joked with each other. We were also really afraid things would get really weird and awkward between us. But one day when we were sitting alone with only about one of his friends, my crush kinda slipped out that he liked me and and I started smiling and told him how I felt. The his friend said, "Finally!! It's about time you told her how you feel. It's been so hard not telling you." I hang out with his friends a lot. So anyway now not muh has chaned and we still joke and laugh and talk so I think you should tell her. One of you has to make the first move or else you will never know if something could happen between you two.

I think you should tell her. i am a girl and i think it would be courageous to tell her you like her.
