I've been experiencing motion sickness [nausea] more frequently this past year. I don't have my drivers license yet but I will be taking the written test for a permit soon. It doesn't matter if I'm in the front seat or the back seat, when my nausea starts I feel like I'm going to throw up and I'm wondering if it's a good idea to get my license? I'm afraid that I might cause an accident and injure myself and/or other people.

you oaught to see a dr have them prescibe some medication for you to help with your nausea or you can go to the store more so mabe drug store and pick up something i wouldsn't want to take any chances with your getting sick till you can get better i wouldn't work your way to getting your permit until you get the nausea problem under control you might be able to talk your self out of the situation and beable to then drive you have to be able to put this behind you its the nervous feeling thats doing it you have to deal with it sooner or later
Actually it's not being nervous that causes the nausea, and I'm not nervous about driving, I actually want to drive. This problem happens when the motion your inner ear senses doesn't agree with the motion you visualize, the two senses get confused and cause nausea.
I'm also trying to avoid medication unless I really must take it. Having said that, I am still going to see a doctor, I agree with you about that.
