I am a junior teacher in a language evening school and I have this girl who is my student (she is two years younger than me) that I like. I was her teacher for 8 months now, and now we are taking a break from classes for the summer and she said that she isn't sure if she is gonna continue after the summer, so I figured now it would be a good moment to ask her out. Now, I know she doesn't have a boyfriend but I didn't want to make any moves during the course, fearing I would come off as a sleazebag. So I did, and she said: "maybe If I'm in town and have time." Now I didn't expect that kind of answer 'cause I thought she was into me, being my facebook friend and chatting with me from time to time. So I'm asking, should I wait a bit and ask her out again, or take this as a no?
Should I ask her out again or let it go?

You should. You might not ever see her again. And when you ask her, try to make it sound casual. Lots of boys and girls chat on facebook or twitter together, and it doesn't necessarily mean she likes you, but it doesn't mean she hates you. Ask her, and see what she says!!
