Should I accept the fact that I might be grounded or try to cover it up?

My bus driver said some teens were in trouble (including me) I told my parents I didn't do anything. What choice should I make? Be grounded? Or try to cover it up in a way?

be honest with them about what happened honesty works better then trying to hide it which could lead to more punishment. If they find out you were involved and didn't own up to it
