Democracies are not babysitters. One country should not interfere with what another country does. The only way that should happen is if a threat of war is made and something is attempted. Other than that whatever way another country chooses to go politically is their business.
Did you ever hear of property rights? The people of each country have the right to choose any form of government that suits them, and the people of any other country have no right to judge their choice or to use violence to force some other form on them.
Make no mistake, whatever form of government a country has, it is what the people choose to tolerate. If not so, the people refuse to support the regime and it collapses. This has happened in several countries in recent years. You don't have to throw it down, just stop holding it up.
Property rights also refer to internal affairs, such as the American tendency to worry about immigrants. If I want to allow an immigrant to work on my farm, my neighbor has no right to forbid it. Of course the haters insist they only want to stop the "illegal" immigrants. Bullsnot! "Illegal" is an arbitrary term. Closing the border is a violation of property rights.
