Hi, I do athletic items such as running, hurdles and long jump but I suffer from shin splints for about 4 months now and I've rested it for 3 weeks(it became better but as soon as I started training again the pain came back) I don't know what to do anymore, I've tried icing, massaging, resting, new shoes. Can you please give me some advice on how to reduce the pain and heal it quickly? I have seen compression socks but are they worth spending money on, do they work ? Athletics means a lot to me what should I do ? Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you go back to your doctor? I think you need to let your doctor know about it. Or better yet, you can try chiropractic treatment and adjustment. It can be helpful especially for people like you who are into athletic activities.
