... still friendly to me. Sometimes think he has feelings for me. When we meet he talks to me but all of a sudden in mid conversation he stops and it's like he's rushing away. Does he like me or not? We're both single now

This seems like a recipe for disaster, he your ex's father this will never work. Don't you know that you are bound to come across your ex while you are with his dad. what about his feeling, their are more people you can choose from. Move on before a child is in the picture.
