so i feel like ive made the worst decision by getting off of my heroin/meth/benzo addiction in trade for the methadone prgram. because yes its a drug too, but i felt like the ppl ive seen on it & how they live compared to how they were strugglin to live just months before being on street drugs that it actually helped them for the better! & its always optional to eventually ween off no matter how hard & long it takes! ive been on IT FOR ABOUT 7 MONTHS NOW. BEEN CONSTIPATED HAVING SEVERE PROBLEMS, TRIED EVERYTHING MY DOC COULD PROSCRIBE ME THAT MY INSURANCE WOULD COVER... ENDED UP USING AN ENEMA DAILY! & THOSE ARENT MEANT TO USE LIKE THAT I MEAN THATS BAD. I JUST NEED SOME TIPS ON THE BEST STOOL SOFENERS / LAXATIVES ANYBODY ELSE ON HERE READING THIS WHOS BEEN ON OR CURRENTLY IS ON METHADONE TOO HAVING HAD THE SAME ISSUES, SO I CAN GIVE WHATEVER THE ONES WORKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE A TRY ASAP! SO PLEASE IF YOU HAVE A GOOD ANSWER TO MY QUESTION DONT JUST IGNORE ME :( IM IN PAIN WITH ALL THE BACK UP I WANNA CRY! I FEEL N LOOK AS IF IM LIKE PREGNANT EARLY STAGED.. ANYWAYS. i'm in the health care field i have seen this problem probably two fold they use it for separate problems any pain medication at times can constipate you badly you have to drink about 5 glasses of water a day what that does is send water to the intestinal track that will soften the stool it has worked now if you use lactilose it will help you go you have to use 17 mgs in the morning then at night till a stool has been produced then another one that might work for you is mira lax this one you drink it once a day till you have produced a stool sometimes it helps to take both till you have results some extra help would be docusate you might have taken theses i don't know
