Serious Question about Voodoo Religion/Voodoo dolls?

Hey, I've taken a recent interest in the religion of voodoo. (studying it). I have a question about how voodoo dolls actually work. So I understand it takes much patience and dedication to actually make a real voodoo doll, so I was wondering HOW to make one of myself* 

Also, if I somehow did have one of myself, technically, couldn't someone touch the dolls leg, and then I'd feel it on my actual leg? How does this work, or how would I get this to work? Who would I talk to that has a profession in these things? Please help!

I'm mostly curious about the touching aspect. Like if someone gently touches or pokes or pins the doll, would I feel it? How would I make a doll that would do this to me?

In recent times the practice of witchcraft has reared its head in sophisticated society. Witchcraft or sorcery, of course, is nothing new.

God&rsquo;s words to Israel give us some examples: &ldquo;There should not be found in you . . . anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah.&rdquo;&mdash;Deuteronomy 18:10-12.
