I have been emailing a friend in dakar senegal for over a year. I am not sure how real this person is, it all sounds real, it's not about money or a relationship, just friendship a pen pal.... so don't get wrong idea. But I want to find out if this person is real, maybe one day I can buy a ticket and visit or via versa.... please give real answers for resources......

I don't think you should meet each other until you are 100 percent sure you friend is real.you should video chat first.the person you talking to could me a old woman or man.you should ask her to video chat with you.How far away is your friend?
