I keep seeing bugs that aren't there. I have eyeglasses, and as far as I know, I don't have any new problems with my glasses nor my eyes. It wouldn't be much of a problem but I get so paranoid and anxious of seeing bugs it distracts me from my work. I keep pausing and looking everywhere if I "see" a bug. I feel as if bugs are crawling over my body too. It wasn't as bad as before, where it would only happen once or twice, but now I can't go 5 minutes without "seeing" a bug, getting distracted, and feeling that same feeling of bugs crawling over me. I was once reading a paper report in front of me, and suddenly, it looked like a bug was crawling over my page. I blinked, and it wasn't there anymore. I can't work like this. I have asked some co-workers about seeing any bugs and nobody has seen anything. Sometimes I hear bugs flying around me and buzzing. My work area is perfectly clean, too. The building isn't an old one either.
Does anyone know how to lessen this feeling, solve the issue of seeing bugs that aren't really there, have any suggestions, or at least know how to calm down? Thank you for reading.
