Security Cameras: Are there systems with cameras that don't need wired and send data without wifi?

I have found cameras that are battery powered, but receiving mechanism needs home wifi (none in area). I have found systems that receive without internet connections but the cameras do not work at night and need hard-wired to electrical power.  Is there anything to monitor a non-powered area that does not depend on "the cloud"?

Answer

All cameras require electrical power, either wires or batteries. All systems require either cables or radios. Night vision cameras are possible. You can get pretty much anything you want if you can pay for it. Talk to a security company.
