Lots of guys do this, some because some other people are saying it so they think it makes them cool to join in, some might not think your pretty for whatever reason (it might just be their taste) and some might be saying it because they actually do think you are pretty and they like you. A lot of guys have trouble conveying their feelings about a girl. The next time someone says you are ugly just either go along with it like "whatever" or just completely ignore them, some are doing it to just get a rise out of you i've seen this many times
Hi, I know exactly what you mean. Boys would tell me,“ your ugly no one likes you.” Just ignore them. Don't get mad because its so straight forward answer. From my experience this is what happened. I changed my image. I straightned my curly locks, I changed my wordrobe, and started using make-up. For what. Imressing guys who didn't like me in the first place. What im trying to say is don't change yourself for NO ONE. I done it and had loads of boys like me, but when I was like that, my self confidence was nothing. I still hate myself for it because the next year they called me ugly with unnaturally straight hair, with make up and so on. I changed to my own ways with curly hair and that and they loved me. I have the best boyfriend ever that loves me for WHO I AM. DO NOT CHANGE YOURSELF. Your boy has not appeared yet but he will. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If they bug you say that or say look at you, your ugly too. And do not like the boys who say your ugly no matter how cute, because they have no self resect for you. Plus they could like you. Weird but its also true.

thats wat people like that do they talk shit to make you feel weak nd vulnerable so you will like them bcuz picking on you builds confidence when really they are nothing but cowardly bullies who are afraid to not be liked so they lashout nd over time realize as a result you either conciously or subconciously will like them as a result. so they keep doing it breeding a mentality of disrespect toward women which we now find in modern times america. and so it is deamed manly to be disrespectful to women which is why people call romantic men ( in america) gay because that is the steriotype in america built from a long tradition of being disrespectful so it can be said that romantic men are gay but some are simply born romantic and you cant be considered gay unless you overtime become romantic because the gay aspect is steeped in tradition and tradition has to be learned. therefore making some romantic men not gay, nd ill tell you one thing this rocketman was born romantic.
The old saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder is very true, for instance, your friend might find a boy gorgeous but you might think he is ugly. We all have different tastes.
There is no way to really know if these horrible boys really find you ugly, but they probably don't, they are just being nasty, that is what some boys are like.
You could use a thing called Reverse psychology, this is where, when they say you are ugly, agree with them and say "I know, my dropped me on my face when I was a baby".
They will probably laugh and say "your not really ugly".
The main thing to remember is that if you think you are pretty that is all that matters, be confident, hold your head up high and shine.
