School grade?

Details:

I am getting 60% in Chem for 1 test & 1 homework. Then I got 80 percent on 2 homework and my grade is now 59%. Isn't my grade suppose to go higher?

depends on the weight of each assignment. My guess is that the 60% test grade is worth more than the HWs, so its bringing it down. Even still, the 59% doesn't sound quite right. I'd ask your teacher :)
