when i had a blood test recently for polymylagia rheumatica the test showed up as normal. some years ago it showed up as having got the polymyalgia. the doctor said either reumatism or arthritis. i have had painful arms for years unable to life heavy things shoppping etc. however for some weeeks now my right shoulder has got a creaking sound on certain movements straightening arm forwards and pushing it backwards also much pain and stiffness. sometimes the pain is unbearable. i have got arthritis in a lot of places. i know that there there is no cure, but is it rheumatism or arthritis. also intermittent pain in left hip like a sharp stabbing pain. sometimes i dont get it for weeks then right out of the blue, my left hip has been a bit swollen for years

it could be rheumatica this is a type of arthritis this is called rheumitoid arthritis this makes you hurt really bad in places causes swelling along with this you might have osteoarthritis which is also painful i have that in my lower back and in my neck and it can go away but comes right back and can go into other parts of the body i would go back to the dr and have those tests ran agian because it could have gotten worse through the years starting from the last time you went to the dr so i would get seen agian to update your medical issues you might also have rotator cuff problems thats in your arm shoulder mri would be a good idea
