I got a school laptop from my friend. And i dont want to log on with my account information since i dont want the school to track me or anything. Is there a way i can restart the computer or factory reset it. I dont have access to any controls on the conputer that could do that since i would need a teachers loggin. Could buying a new hard drive work?
