REM - "End of world" in unknown TV show?

Here is the question.

There is a TV show in which the lead actress was joining a law firm (maybe) and in the first episode she was dared to karaoke REM's "It's the end of the world as we know it."

I thought the TV show was Ally McBeal, but it is not.

Anyone remember?
