Recently got placed in TCS and I have been asked to give three stream preferences from a list?

... comprising of JAVA, C++/UNIX/Oracle, Mainframes, .NET, Assurance, BIPM and Entsol.In choose Unix , java , net but I like to change my prefrence to BIPM. So can I choose what I like during joining?
