Received child support payments 23 yrs after divorce, who should get the money?

I feel I supported the children 100% to include medical insurance ($96,225 for 18 yrs) which he was ordered to provide along child support monies ($56,336). Just seem lost in a situation like this.

Child support is for the carer of the children, not for the child itself. It's supposed to help cover living costs, school fees, insurances, food, clothes etc
