I've always had bad insomnia but lately its been crazy. Im prescribed sleeping medicine but every medicine my doctor prescribes me quits working within a couple weeks. I never get any sleep anymore and when I do eventually fall asleep I can't stay asleep I'm constantly waking up. The past few weeks I've been staying up til 6am or later around that time I finally fall asleep but then I either wake back up an hour later or don't wake up til around 4pm. Now I have my days and nights mixed up which makes it even harder for me to sleep at night. Is there something I can do about it ? Or something to help me fall asleep besides trying a different sleeping pill every month ? I just really need some sleep and me not getting any is making my body hurt and is giving me major headaches. So can anyone help me please ?!?!?!
Really bad insomnia !!!!! Please help !!!!!?

I have been suffering from work week insomnia for over 2 years. I think it's mainly because I try to go to sleep early on weekdays and stay up watching movies till I fall asleep during weekends. I think consistency is the key here. I'm working on that.
I sleep so well during holidays. And also sleep very well in rooms with air conditioning. I think the temperature in the room and the air makes a huge difference as well (so I will be investing in one very soon)
I have tried warm milk before bed and it has not worked very well. But I tried warm milk when I wake up in the middle of the night and have a hard time getting back to sleep and it worked a few times but it's not a permanent solution. I also tried honey and it put me to sleep on a couple of occasions and that was that. I was prescribed melatonin 3mg but it doesn't really work. I'm going to take melatonin for a few more weeks and see if I notice a difference.
I did more research and ordered magnesium supplements (Natural Calm) online as Magnesium is not available for purchase in my country. I have not received it yet but I read a lot of great reviews and maybe you can give this a go?
I will try the Chamomile tea and see if that will make any difference.
Good Luck
