You see, I was talking to my crush for quite a while on facebook, the subject changed and we started talking about secrets which led to who I liked, of course i couldn't tell her so suddenly but she tells me that by the sounds of things I really like her and should do it soon. What am I supposed to do?

See, there is a problem to all this. I've liked her for a while and until I ask, to me, she likes me. I'm living in this fantasy much like Schroedinger cat, the cat is both dead and alive until I open the box, ans I don't want to face the possibility that the cat is dead.

From the two answers I've got it seems as if I really ought to ask her, but I don't know if I can, too long I've been wondering and either answer is such a sudden change that i don't know If i can handle them. My plan is that in the near future I will, my fear that If I wait too long I'll be out of time.

To turn it around, you can also ask her if she likes you. I know this may be embarrassing as well but then at least you know. And who knows, maybe she has the same problem.
Or you could take her out to a movie or something, let her know you want to spend time with her. Probably she gets the hint :).
I think she actually knows, "Maybe she likes you" and uses many winking emoticons and those blushing ones.
And there is a problem with the movie thing, I am not let's say as popular as some, I am a nerd you see, perhaps one of the most popular ones and perhaps more popular than other non-nerds and make friends outside of the "Nerd circle" but never gone as far as such thing like a relationship. So i don't think I can do that.
I think you just have to tell her then. It is the most direct message and it is very embarrassing to think of but once you've told her it's done and you'll be happy you told her. It's just a matter of a few seconds and a few words. If you think she likes you too, with the emoticons and so on, really nothing can go wrong. She'll be happy you made the first move, and you'll be too. You can just call her now for that reason.
