I had a grand mal seizure in my friends room and a chair was broken. This was 3 years ago. I have paid him all the $80 but now he wants an extra $20. He says he'll meet me at a place for the money, yet he does not show up and now will hang up the phone after I call. Yet, when I see him in public places he says Hi and has no problem with conversations. I still feel indebted to him and would like to move on or perhaps save the relationship, yet feel unable to reimburse him because of the actions. Could use some input please!

You paid him what you owed him for the chair, your debt is paid and you should tell your friend that you are not going to give him an extra $20, when the chair was only $80. That is not fair to you either for your friend to ask, cause then he might keep coming back for money more and more even if it is a little at a time. Be careful he doesn't take advantage of you.
Thank you! Was kind of confused over the situation
